Can we have it all? What does it really take? There’s no better person to answer those questions than Linda LoRe, President and CEO of Frederick’s of Hollywood.
Everyday, women struggle with balancing career, family and a desire to grow as individuals. Ms. LoRe will reveal how to effectively balance a rewarding career with personal and family life. In her own successful career, LoRe has launched some of the top retail brands at Giorgio Beverly Hills. Her remarkable resurrection of Frederick’s of Hollywood from Chapter 11 to major competitor in the fashion industry has garnered much attention and praise. LoRe also serves on Boards of Directors for many leading academic, industry and charity organizations. She is married with two young children, and enjoys traveling and worldwide adventures.

Portia Cohen, Manhattan Beach City Councilwoman and attorney engages a panel of fascinating women in an intimate conversation about life's opportunities and challenges. Discussion themes include:

Jennifer is our go-to, always reliable volunteer for MBWIB. Former chair (2009), and board liason, Jennifer is energetic, dynamic, and always upbeat. Jennifer -- we couldn't do it without you!!

Featuring Oriana Inferrera who will sing the National Anthem
Oriana is a junior at Mira Costa High School. Oriana has most recently been seen as the Balladeer/Tiger-keeper in Mira Costa’s production of “The Apple Tree”. She has played Cosette in “Les Miserables” among many other musical roles. Oriana originated the role of Cherie in the world premier of the opera “Red, White and Blue”. She has also been a soloist at UCLA. Competitively singing since age twelve, Oriana won the Southern California Vocal Association’s Solo Vocal Competition in the eighth grade, and is currently a semifinalist for this year. For the second year in a row, Oriana will be competing in Classical Singer Magazine’s national solo competition. Her greatest passions are performing, painting, and eating.
